Am I Eligible For The NDIS?
If you are aged between 9 and 65, a local area coordinator can help you to understand the NDIS, apply and connect with other government and community supports.
If you have a child younger than 9, an early childhood partner can provide support to children before they apply, and let families know if the NDIS is right for their child.

No. I’m 65 and over. You must be under 65 to access the NDIS. You may be able to access other supports.

Residence Requirements
Are you an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder?

Do you live in Australia?
The NDIS is only available to people who live in Australia .


Disability Requirements

The NDIS is only available to people who have a disability caused by a permanent impairment . The impairment may be intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory, physical, or psychosocial.
